Raspberry Festival and Least of These Report
We had a great week last week hosting Heather Clark's Dance Production of the Least of These and also volunteering and having an information booth at the Lynden Raspberry Festival.
Highlights:
* Over $1400 dollars raised at the events and some still to come in
* Several families touched and have taken next step of pursuing becoming adoptive families
* Numerous opportunities to build and continue to build relationships with our friends at DSHS (State Foster System) and people in the community who wanted to know what we are about.
UPCOMING EVENT:
* Helping Host the Beacon House Orphanage Director from Ghana and the Social Welfare Director from Ghana. This will be the Social Welfare Directors first ever visit to the United States and we are honored to be helping host him and let him see many of the kids that have been adopted recently by his approval into our homes in the USA.
